![]() ![]() Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?īesides my health struggles, it has been a very smooth road becoming a franchisee. ![]() I am so grateful to be able to say that I have fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning my own studio and have a job that I truly love. I loved that I would be able to provide access to such an interesting workout that most people would not even think to try and that would inspire others to maintain their health like it did for me.Īnd lastly, I felt welcomed by this community of fun, strong, and inspiring women and couldn’t wait to be a bigger part of it. I specifically wanted to open an AIR® studio because I felt challenged by the combination of cardio, strength training, stretching, and fun tricks that reminded me of my dancing days. Since then, I have also acquired AIR® River North and MudbuM River North studios. Within 2 years of my first AIR® class I became a certified aerial instructor and in less than 3 years I quit my corporate job and became the owner of AIR® South Loop. I learned to control the disease with medication, diet, and exercise at AIR® and quickly regained some of my strength and energy. I worked with many doctors and was finally diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. After getting my butt kicked at my first class, I was determined to feel like my young, strong self again so that I could attend these classes regularly and master the beautiful aerial poses that all of the other students were doing. Post-college, and still feeling as sick as ever, I moved to Chicago and was introduced to AIR® Aerial Fitness. I struggled to get through the long days in dance classes, nightly rehearsals, and performances and felt like a zombie going through the motions of my life. I felt healthy, happy, and energized until my early college years when I started to feel extremely ill and fatigued every day. I was a competitive gymnast and dancer and eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have always been an active person – keeping myself busy mentally, socially, and physically my entire childhood. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far. Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Wolf. ![]()
